Creative commons is a type of licensing that enables you to use other people's work with restrictions and permission from the creator.

Attribution:

You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. It can be in any way you want, as long as its noticeable and readable.

No Derivative Works:

Other people are allowed to use your work as long as it has not been adjusted in any way.

Share Alike:

Other people can use your work as long as they have a license identical to the one you have chosen for your work

Non-Commercial:

Other people can use your work as it is for non-commercial uses only.
