For my blog I used Wordpress, it was simple and efficient, making it something I would definitely recommend. My website was on anime and I reviewed a few animes.

Blogging - Digital Portfolio Write Up

A blog is a website that is updated on a regular basis and is generally owned by and individual or a small group. It is not necessary for the website to be famous.

I found it really easy to use Wordpress because of it's simplicity. It was able to get the job done with ease and the interface is pretty cool. It's a neat website and pretty straight forward.

Sometimes it's simplicity were a disadvantage though. It was difficult to embed some things without having to download plugins and those kind of things.

I got some comments on my blog posts, they helped boost my self esteem and make me feel the need to continue my posts for the viewers. I now understand what it is like to be a famous blogger. I received quite a lot of hate, but they were some what inappropriate for school so I deleted them.

I would make sure the amount of hate I receive does not get to me. It's probably just coming from jealousy due to me being far better to them anyway. I would also keep my fans very happy so that they don't hate me.

A web 2.0 tools take advantage of being on technology. It's basically most things that you aren't capable of doing in a book. They are used to amaze, impress, and to add more information in my case.

A static website is one that is flat and has nothing to it, it might as well just be a book. However, a dynamic website, just like mine, can be interactive and is not just a flat sheet with words on it.

I chose the colours match my feelings on anime. I made it look as appealing as I could, however, I couldn't find many anime pictures because if you search it up it comes up with a bunch of weird stuff.

I would change the layout, the theme, and the topic. I was not very familiar with the topic I chose so I would choose something I know well.

I would recommend choosing an area that they are familiar with and have a lot of experience in. If they want their blog to be simple then they could use Wordpress if they don't want to create their own website from scratch.
